Description:
Tompkins County Farm City Day is a family-oriented educational event that provides the opportunity to visit a working farm and learn about agriculture. Over 50 exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities including wagon ride farm tours, farm animals, wool spinning, milk and cheeses samples, honey bee observation hive, maple sugaring, agriculture's role in the water shed, what cows eat, Ronnie Raindrop, farmer's need for seeds, and much more. Also featuring a huge Silent Auction with many local goods and services in support of the local Ag in the Classroom program.
