Receipts: This Week: 466 Last Sale 01/16/2010: 243
Compared to the last sale: Bulk supply kid goats and replacement
nannies. All other classes lightly tested. Kid goats 4.00-10.00
higher. Slaughter nannies steady to 4.00 lower. Few Slaughter
Billies 4.00-5.00 higher. Feeder lambs not well tested. Demand
very good for kid goats and replacement goats but quality attractive
as will. Supply included an attractive lot of registered Boer goats.
Prices for sheep are per hundred weight, goats are by the head.

Compared to last sale: Slaughter kids 5.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter
nannies 2.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter lambs 5.00-10.00 higher. Sunny
skies and mild temperatures finally allowed producers to get animals to
market. Demand good. Quality plain to attractive. Goats sold by the
head, sheep sold by the cwt.
