Good moring

my name is victoria, i have just purchased 30+ acres of land and deciding what i should do with it I want my kids involved any ideas would be great please send them my way I also have tons of hay if someone can email me so I can found out what kind it is that would be great also,

Well Victoria, there are so many thing's you can do with that amount of land. What are your interest's and what are your kids ages and their interests? Do you also want to make money at your venture or is this something to get your kids into ranching,FFA, 4-H,or to teach your kids responsibility of animal ownership? Do you like spinning, felting, knitting, would you raise sell and cull offspring? Sorry about all the questions but they are necessary to figure out what would work for you and your family.
We own a llama and alpaca ranch. We use the llamas to pack on hunts and day trips into the high country. We breed and sell both llamas and alpacas which is very profitable. We also sell and use the wool off both the animals. We also promote 4-H with both teaching, responsability, and training. Goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas are animals that are easy and have many uses and dont need a lot of space as well as easy on the feed bill. Goats can be a little hard on fencing. not sure about sheep. llama and alpacas are VERY easy keepers. Hope this has helped. If you have any questions on any animals there are many people in this site who own and love to help.

Victoria,
Sorry its been so long, lots going on as im sure is with you as well.
camping sound great as does hunting Im all for that lol Leasing your land out for hay is a great idea and people do it all the time. No problems but you can check with your local Ag office find out what covenants are on your lot and have some one draw up papers so everything works for both parties. What does hay go for out there? Hope all goes well.
