Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady. Slaughter
cows steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady. Trade active and demand
good. Slaughter cows made up 12 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 3 percent, and feeders 84 percent. The feeder supply
included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers. Near 18 percent of the run
weighed over 600 lbs.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: 400-500 lbs 106.00-116.00; 500-600 lbs 98.00-
106.00; 600-700 lbs 89.00-99.00; few 700-800 lbs 91.00-92.00.
Medium and Large 2: 300-400 lbs 110.00-116.00; 400-500 lbs 97.00-107.00; 500-
600 lbs 90.00-100.00, few to 103.00; 600-700 lbs 85.00-91.00; 700-800 lbs 87.00-
90.00.
Medium and Large 3: few 300-400 lbs 96.00-105.00; 400-500 lbs 93.00-99.00;
