Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher.
Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00 higher. Trade
active and demand good. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 lb feeder
steers and heifers. Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the offering,
slaughter bulls 2 percent, replacement cows 2 percent, and feeders 85 percent.
The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers. Near 16
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: 300-400 lbs 130.00-140.00; 400-500 lbs 121.00-
130.00; 500-600 lbs 115.00-125.00; 600-700 lbs 109.00-117.00; 700-800 lbs 98.00-
106.00.
Medium and Large 2: 300-400 lbs 122.50-132.50, 310 lb individual 135.00; 400-
