Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers 2.00-
3.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to firm. Slaughter bulls steady to weak.
Trade active and demand good. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 lb
feeder steers and heifers. Slaughter cows made up 13 percent of the offering,
slaughter bulls 1 percent, replacement cows 2 percent, and feeders 84 percent.
The feeder supply included 46 percent steers and 54 percent heifers. Near 20
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: 300-400 lbs 106.0-112.00, few 131.00-135.00; 400-
500 lbs 101.00-109.00,few 111.00-117.00; 500-600 lbs 92.00-99.00; 600-700 lbs
83.00-87.00.
Medium and Large 2: 400-500 lbs 90.00-98.00; 500-600 lbs 82.00-89.00; 600-700
lb calves 76.00-81.00.
Medium and Large 3: 400-500 lbs 80.00-87.00; 500-600 lbs 78.00-83.00; 600-700
