Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs 6.00 higher, over 500 lbs
steady to weak. Feeder heifers 2.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter cows 2.00 higher.
Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher on a limited test. Demand active on all
classes. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-700 lb feeder steers and heifers.
Slaughter cows made up 20 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1 percent,
and feeders 79 percent. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 41
percent heifers. Near 27 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: 200-300 lbs 134.00-135.00; 300-400 lbs 129.00-
134.00; 400-500 lbs 122.00-132.00; 500-600 lbs 113.00-120.00; 600-700 lbs
107.00-110.00; 700-800 lbs 96.00-103.00.
Medium and Large 2: 300-400 lbs 124.00-126.00; 400-500 lbs 107.00-112.00, few
