Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 1.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter
cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand active on all
classes. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 200-700 lb feeder steers and heifers.
Slaughter cows made up 19 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 7 percent,
replacement cows 11 percent, and feeders 63 percent. The feeder supply included
55 percent steers and 45 percent heifers. Near 21 percent of the run weighed
over 600 lbs.
Steers: Medium and Large 1: 200-220 lbs 138.00-143.00; 300-400 lbs 132.00-
141.00; 400-500 lbs 128.00-136.00; 500-600 lbs 123.00-130.00; 600-700 lb calves
109.00-114.00; few 700-800 lbs 94.00-102.00.
Medium and Large 2: 200-300 lbs 131.00-136.00; 300-400 lbs 126.00-131.00;
