Northern California: Tons FOB Barn/Stack: 13,325 Tons Delivered: 7,825
Compared to last week, Premium and Supreme Alfalfa steady to 5.00 lower.
Demand moderate and supply light. Fair and Good Alfalfa steady to mostly 5.00-
10.00 lower. Demand light and supply moderate to heavy. Retail and stable hay
mostly steady, instance 5.00-10.00 lower. Demand moderate to good and supply
moderate. Dairies continue to put brakes on as far as additional hay buying, some
still busy with silage cutting and everyone somewhat nervous about creamery
problems. The milk futures prices showed some improvement late in the week.

Demand light and supply moderate to heavy. Retail and stable hay steady in light
test. Demand moderate to good and supply moderate. Dairies still busy with
silage and are not showing much interest in additional hay buying. The creamery
situation is causing some concern around the industry. The futures milk price
show some improvement late in the week.

storms having gone through southern desert areas, they have to reevaluate hay
qualities that are available.
