To help support farmers to be successful. To provide, collect, and organize a collection of services, tools, resources, and collaborative efforts by and for those that take an interest in small farms.  To help unite small farmers and help promote profitable networks between farmers.  To unite, bring, and spread knowledge in a community setting so that we may all be better off.

Ways You Can Help

• The number one thing you can do is be an active community member.  Just by being an active member will help.  You can do many things at activefarming.org. Active Farming is designed to be a community website and you are apart of the community.
• Submit your farming experiences and knowledge.  Any information, articles, or pictures that you would like to submit to be included in Activefarming.org that is farm or agriculture related is welcomed. You can participate and add content to Active Farming at any time by clicking on the "create content" link in the navigation menu to the left. There are many things you can do including; submitting articles, classified ads, photos, ask questions, participate in forum discussions, or even publish a blog (online journal).
