We used imported semen from the UK in 2003 and 2004 breedings plus much of our stock have other imported bloodlines in their pedigree. Bluefaced Leicesters are quite rare in the US. They have lovely high luster fleeces that are excellent for spinning and felting. They are the most common crossing sire on the hill breeds in the UK and add tremendous length of loin and fleece improvement.
