A Day at SawDust Farm

It finally stopped raining, its been nice for the past 2 days only a couple of showers, the livestock feel alot better now they can get out an stretch their legs. This morning I milked our goat, Brandy, we got 1 3/4 quart of milk, she is a first time freshener.
I yoked up our sons 1 year old holstein team of steers while hubby cut down some hardwood trees so I could pull them out with the cattle, that was the first time I used them the "work" with, I think they did good, however they still need work on their backing skills & put in put out skills.

RAIN! RAIN! RAIN!

It has been raining here in New Hampshire for 5 days now, the state has broken many of the old rain records. Many roads are still closed as well as some towns. A couple of our family & friends have been evacuated an are still unable to go back to their homes because the dams are still bubbling over, one we know has a crack in it an is being watched closely.
We had just got done putting the manure down in the new garden area with a tractor just before the rain started, we still need to rototill it in when (if) the rain ever stops.
