Cattle and Calves: 725 Week Ago: 755 Year Ago: 1,110
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to firm. Slaughter
cows 2.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher. Bulk of the supply
Medium and Large 1-2 400-850 lbs feeder steers and heifers. Trade and demand
moderate to good. Slaughter cows made up 06 percent of the offering, slaughter
bulls 03 percent, replacement cows 03 percent and feeders 88 percent. The
feeder supply included 49 percent steers and 61 percent heifers. Near 77
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
