I have not used this product yet (will use to install permanent charge plug for Wife's in car GPS mount).

I looked around and was going to modify a much cheaper cigarette charger for this purpose, but decided to 'buy American' and try this out instead!

I expect no problems, and will only update this review if I encounter any.

This would only be useful for providing wired (permanent) Auto power to a Magellen GPS (which is my intent).

Got this for my Motorcycle - has a large power converter that limits where you can mount it. Overall it works well and the plug stays plugged into the GPS while you ride.
