When three thirtysomething friends with woman troubles (Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Vince Vaughn) decide to form a fraternity, it's supposedly to save Wilson from losing his house, which the nearby college is trying to claim for academic purposes. But really, Ferrell and Vaughn are desperate to return to the reckless, feckless days of beer bongs and hot chicks, and they drag Wilson along with them as they throw themselves into gathering frat pledges of all ages. Old School could have been just another string of bad jokes hanging on a flimsy plot, but the script and the cast have a jovial energy and just enough grounding in reality--at least, up until the obligatory beat-the-system ending, but by that point you'll forgive the excesses of this silly, cheerful, and frequently funny movie. A great comedy. Plenty of great scenes with a wonderful fraternity pledge-Blue! Cast did a super job and it moves fast. Very enjoyable and a true classic. Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn have comedic chemistry that drives a laugh a minute.

What can I say, this movie has it all. Humor, nudity, drama... The three main characters are a good match.

Just a bit corny for me. Like Animal House. That doesn't mean someone else wouldn't like it.I still don't know what the point of the movie was. Need a definite taste for this movie. Bought from Amazon,as soon as I saw Will Farrell was in it. He's done better. I did enjoy Steve Carell's role.
However, it is a no brainer with a few laughs in it.

If you haven't seen Old School by now you have been living in a shell.

Simply put, the greatest comedy movie of all time, perhaps tied w Arthur "Susan really looks quite beautiful in the right light, but you can't always count on that light can you?", Trading Places, Caddy Shack and the first Austin Powers movie.

From the director of Hangover, this is the far superior movie of the two.
