I confess I missed the cardboard box. I believe there is an envelope on it to send the used cartridge to HP.
Other than that, it's exactly the cartridge asked.

Definitely the best solution for your HP Printer. I am using them in my HP Officejet J6480 All-in-One Printer. The prices listed on Amazon are not too bad. I've seen the cartridges for as low as $23.00, but $31.00 is the MSRP. These cartridges contain roughly three times the ink of the HP 74 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge. The ink capacity for these cartridges is estimated by HP as approx 18 ml of ink versus 5 ml for the "normal" version. Remember to check compatibility first!!

I wasn't even aware they made an "XL" cartridge for my printer; I was changing print cartridges every 12 days, until I ran across this item on Amazon. I am very very happy with the product; even Wal-Mart doesn't carry this size cartridge. It arrived promptly, totally smooth transaction.
